Adventures in Plant Medicine

  • Tomnah'a Market Garden Braincroft Crieff, Scotland, PH7 4JZ United Kingdom (map)

The first of three practical days of gathering and making tasty food and effective remedies using the plants growing seasonally on the farm and Croft. Each workshop will include a walk to find and gather plants (including a seasonal salad for lunch), information on plant ID and safe sustainable harvesting, practical remedy making and plenty of time to share experiences and ask questions. Anna has many years of experience growing, harvesting and making her own herbal remedies for friends and family as well as running workshops for both adults and children, and is currently training to become a medical herbalist with the Plant Medicine School in Ireland.

The Spring Session will concentrate on Leaves-

Explore the many wild foods and healing plants available to us in springtime. We will forage for spring greens, cook some delicious nettle soup on the fire and make a healing herbal balm to take home.

Please bring something to write down what you learn and warm waterproof clothes to wear. We will mainly be outside or under cover. Children are welcome on this day but must be supervised.

If you have mobility issues please contact us before so we can prepare the day to suit you.
