In the summer, the garden is alive with colour, movement, shape, smells, tastes, sounds and textures. Plants and flowers blossom and bloom. Birds sing and butterflies flutter. Breezes make the leaves dance and sunlight makes the whole scene bright and vivid.
Following the dormancy of winter and the new growth of spring, summer marks the peak of nature in its fullness: a wonderland just waiting to be appreciated and enjoyed through all of our senses. If we really pay attention and take in all that the garden has to offer, we connect more fully to the vibrancy, diversity and aliveness of the natural world.
Join Lhamo Grace - yoga and mindfulness teacher and therapist - as she guides a day of paying attention and deepening appreciation for the natural world. The day will include guided mindfulness exercises, sharing and reflection, silence, creativity and free time to explore the garden. Some of the fruits you can expect to enjoy include wonder, awe, delight, joy, inspiration and peacefulness. Nature is freely available to all of us, yet in the busyness of life and our modern world, we can easily become distracted. This event will be dedicated to calling ourselves back to the present moment experience of being immersed in the natural world, and all of the amazement and pleasure that can bring.
The day will be based outdoors or under the shelter of our open barn.
Lunch will be provided by Charli’s Slow Bakes who uses produce grown here to make delicious and very special tasty delights.
Mobility access- Please contact us in advance if you have mobility issues so we can plan the day to suit you.
