Qigong in the Garden

  • Tomnah'a Market Garden Braincroft Crieff, Scotland, PH7 4JZ United Kingdom (map)

Qigong is a soft and relaxing ancient Chinese art of working with and cultivating energy (qi). Qigong has many benefits, it can increase energy, agility and flexibility, loosen and strengthen joints and muscles, rejuvenate body, mind and spirit and is relatively easy to learn.

Practicing qigong outside in a garden space like Tomnaha enables us to tap into the elemental forces of nature such as earth, air, and water. The workshop will provide an opportunity to learn some basic qigong movements and exercises used to stimulate qi for better health and wellbeing.

Dave Macdonald practiced Tai Chi for over 20 years before moving to Qigong, focusing mainly on the Shibashi, Ji Ben and Self-healing forms. He has held Qigong courses in Comrie and district for over 8 years and also Zoom classes during the two Covid years.

Suitable for beginners and refreshments will be available at the end.
